Welcome to Messiah Christian Preschool

Messiah Christian Preschool’s role as a Developmental Christian Preschool is to provide a positive first step in preparing children for school. We want to work closely with families in preparing children to be successful in an educational setting. Emphasis will be placed on developing fine and gross motor skills, language skills, cognitive skills, self-help skills, and a positive self concept.

We commit to offer a thematic approach to learning, integrating the curriculum through varied interest centers that promote language and literacy; critical thinking and problem solving; and learning through exploratory multi-sensory experiences. This combination of a thematic learning approach, combined with activity and interest centered learning, allows each child to reach a higher level of thinking and understanding by creating an environment that is exciting, dynamic, multi-dimensional, and fun.

There are many developmental skills that will be addressed each day in preschool. Teachers will provide daily experiences in the areas of cognitive, language, self-help, fine and gross motor, art expression, music, emotional, and social development.

What types of programs does Messiah Christian Preschool offer?

Messiah Christian Preschool offers different types of programs. We have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday program for both 3K and 4K. We have a Tuesday and Thursday 3K program. We are also offering a five day a week program for 4K starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Morning classes run from 8:30-11:30 AM. Afternoon classes are offered if there is enough interest.

What is the student-teacher ratio?

At Messiah Christian Preschool, our 4K classroom will have a maximum of 13 students. Our 3K classrooms will have up to 10 students per classroom.

What is the school's policy on parent involvement?

At Messiah Christian Preschool, we believe that communication between parent and teacher is essential for the development of a strong relationship. We strive to keep parents informed and up-to-date with their child's progress. Parents are welcome to volunteer in our classrooms.

How much is tuition?

Our Monday, Wednesday, and Friday programs are $280 a month for the 2024-2025 school year. Our Tuesday and Thursday programs are $220 a month for the 2024-2025 school year. Our five day a week 4K is $480 a month for the 2024-2025 school year. Snacks are included in the tuition rate.

Is there a registration fee?

There is an annual non-refundable $50 registration fee due at the time of registering.

Registeration is available through email. Please provide your student's name, date of birth, parent's name, and email in the contact form. See our contact page.

Does Messiah Lutheran Church offer Sunday School?

Yes, Messiah Lutheran Church offers Sunday School during the 9:00 AM Worship Service on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. It runs September through May. Messiah Lutheran Church worships every Sunday at 9:00 AM. All are welcome.
